Fox and Hound Northlake a Dining Nitemare!!

On July 15 a club I belong to booked a private room for an evening meeting of about 35 people  at the Fox and Hound Northlake location.  The evening was a disaster from the start.

When we arrived at 6:30 the room was not set up.  When we told the staff that the tables needed to be rearranged they disappeared and we had to set up the room ourselves.  We asked for beer menus and we were given one menu for 35 people to share.  NO silverware or napkins were set up.

Several people ordered a Stella and 30 minutes later the waitresses came back to say they didn't have any Stella.  During the evening as other people ordered Stella the waitresses would take the order and come back much later to say they didn't have any.  You would think that after the first time she told someone they were out of Stella that it would dawn on her to tell them they were out but it never did.  I ordered a craft beer and after 45 minutes of reminding the waitress that I still didn't have my beer she passed by me and said they weren't offering that beer that night and walked away.  She didn't even have the common sense to ask if I wanted to order something else.  When I finally got my beer one hour and  minutes after my first order it was a small one, instead of the large one I ordered.  She replied that they were out of the large glasses and again walked away.  I saw that the other waitress was delivering large beers to anyone that ordered them.  Many times during the evening people would order beers and be told 30 minutes later that that beer wasn't offered.  The waitresses had no clue as to what was and what was not available.  More on this beer fiasco later.

We ordered food and most orders took an hour and 15 minutes till it arrived. as they arrive one at a time each person had to remind the waitress that we had no silver ware or napkins,  She went over to the bar and through a pile of napkins in the middle of the table and walked away.  She never returned with silverware and some of our members were out to the bar and got us all silverware from the bar.
By the way when I finally left about 8:30 there were still several people who had not received their beverages or food. -- That for a meeting that started at 6:30.

When it came time for our speaker we asked that the music be turned off in the room so we could hear the presentation but even after several requests the music was never turned off so we had to forgo the presentation.  Several of our members asked to speak to the manager, we were told his name was Demetrius but he never would come in.  Several others went out to the bar and asked the bartenders where the manager was but none of the staff could find him.  He must have been hiding.

Now to make matters even worse the hostess began seating other patrons in our private room while we were still meeting and had not received our food.  These other patrons were assigned other waitresses and they were getting their appetizers, drink orders and food while our waitresses were still running an hour and a half behind.

People started going to the bar to get refills because our service was so poor.  One of the guys came back from the bar and said he saw the problem.  The kitchen was putting out orders and the bartenders were lining up drink orders but all our waitresses were off in a corner in a cluster talking and texting on their cell phones while we sat there thirsty and hungry.

When I left at 8:30 the guy next to me who had never received his beer order was finally getting his food order which was a plate of wings;  an hour and a half to get wings???

People were wanting their checks but the waitstaff was unavailable so one by one they had to be tracked down. Now we come back to the beer fiasco.  On everyones' tab were also the beers they ordered but never received because they out of them.  The staffs attitude was, you ordered them, you get billed for them and most people had to request -- I should say demand a corrected bill.

Before I ever go into another Fox and Hound location, please poke me in the eye with a stick and beat some sense into me.
